Inscryption Giveaway Charity Stream

On August 13th, a historic flood hit my small town of Connersville and has destroyed many homes and businesses, displacing families and leaving quite the mess behind. Our community is resilient and hardworking and many volunteers have stepped up to help with flood recovery efforts. Unfortunately, state and federal disaster relief has been sorely lacking. The Fayette Community Foundation is stepping up and collecting donations to directly support Fayette County families that have been impacted by these floods. Our city has endorsed and promoted this fundraiser, it is official and trustworthy. Please consider donating here if you can!

I will be hosting a special “Inscryption” Giveaway Charity Stream on my Twitch channel on Friday, September 18th from 1pm-9pm to encourage folks to donate directly to that fundraiser.

During this stream, I will be playing “Kaycee’s Mod”, a quickplay version of the game “Inscryption”, and any time I win or lose a run, I will give away a copy of “Inscryption” via Steam key to a random person in my Twitch chat for free! This has been made possible thanks to a very generous donation of a LOT of Steam keys from the game’s creator, Daniel Mullins. Thank you, Daniel! 😁 To enter the giveaways, all you have to do is be logged in on Twitch and type “!join” in the chat when prompted. You do not need to donate or make any purchases to enter the giveaway, but I will be encouraging everyone who can to donate to my city’s official flood relief fund and it would be super cool if you did!

I’ll start my first Kaycee’s Mod run of the day with a Mantis God starter deck with zero challenges, SUPER easy. I’ll add ONE modifier each time I complete a run. Viewers can also make a donation to the charity to make me play a specific starter deck or add more challenges to the next run! More challenges means more difficulty, which means the next giveaway will come more quickly if I lose the run! Just send me a screenshot as proof of your donation (censor any sensitive personal details first).

1 pm – Stream start! We’ll chat for a little while and talk about what happened with the flood. After that, I’ll start my first Kaycee’s Mod run.
3 pm – Quick break. I’ll have Words On Stream going for viewers to play while I’m away.
3:15 pm – I’m back! Continuing Kaycee’s Mod.
5:30 pm – Dinner break! I’ll be gone for 30 mins, viewers play Words on Stream.
6 pm – Quick reminder of what the stream is all about, then back to Kaycee’s Mod.
9 pm – The stream will draw to a close. If I have any keys left to give away, I will have another giveaway before I end the stream!

STARTER DECKS
$5 – Make me play a specific starter deck:

CHALLENGES
$5 donation gets you 10 Challenge Points (CP) to spend (you can only add one of each type of challenge to a single run):

  • No Hook – 5 CP. You do not start with the Fish Hook.
  • Smaller Backpack – 5 CP. You can carry one less Item.
  • Cloverless – 5 CP. The Clover is disabled.
  • Expensive Pelts – 5 CP. Pelts from The Trapper cost more. The Skinning Knife is unaffected, as it is not a pelt.
  • Totem Bosses – 15 CP. All boss battles will have Totems according to their preferred Tribe.
  • Tipped Scales – 20 CP. Start all battles with one point of damage against you.
  • All Totem Battles – 20 CP. All normal battles on the map are replaced with a random Totem Battle.
  • No Boss Rares – 15 CP. Bosses award regular cards instead of Rares.
  • More Difficult (two copies) – 15 CP. More cards with better quality (including stat lines and Sigils) from the opponent.
  • Single Candle – 30 CP. You are limited to one life.
  • Annoying Starters – 10 CP. Your starting deck’s cards gain the Annoying Sigil from Act 3.
  • Squirrel Fish – 20 CP. The squirrels from your side deck become Aquasquirrels.
  • Grizzly Bosses – 50 CP. Switches the second phases of the first three bosses for 8 Grizzly cards with the Mighty Leap Sigil, similar to what happens in the regular game if you progress too fast.
  • Final Boss – 20 CP. Leshy is replaced by Royal Dominguez as the final boss of the run, with his own mechanics and cards.

I am close to my Twitch payout, so Prime subs and bits you already have are welcome, but please do not purchase any bits or subscriptions and just give the money directly to the charity. I have ads reduced as much as possible, but I can’t turn them off completely, so the ad revenue and prime subs might be enough to get me to my twitch payout goal (currently sitting at $47 / $50, so it’s close!). If I do reach the the payout threshold, all $50 is going to the flood relief fund.
