Mr. Moocher is a very gentle and cuddly neutered male in his lanky young adult era. He still has quite a bit of growing to do by the looks of his paws compared to the rest of him, but he is well past his rambunctious kitten phase and is content to just snuggle up beside you. He’s in such great shape and has been so well behaved that I was pretty well convinced someone must be missing him.
I made posts all over local Facebook groups attempting to reunite him with his family, and some folks claiming to be familiar with him have told me that he had been kicked out by the people who used to care for him. The folks who told me this said they had no idea why he was kicked out as he is just super sweet and even tolerated being carried around by the neighborhood kids. I’ve been keeping him safe and warm in my bedroom, but he can’t stay with us.
We already have two senior cats and not enough room for a third, even though he is trying his best to convince me to change my mind. He uses the litter box like an absolute pro, and has shown absolutely zero destructive behavior. I have left full glasses of water around him unattended and I haven’t bothered to hide electrical cords because he doesn’t mess with them. Catnip makes him mellow and goofy. The only thing I have seen him scratch is his designated scratching pad. He’s a complete gentleman and would be an excellent companion for any family. He is FIV/FeLV negative and was recently vaccinated and flea treated.
